I almost only play daily chess, no faster than 3 days per move.  I prefer standard but I enjoy 960 now and then.  I mainly play matches because I like the comradery.  I accept a few 'a la carte' challenges or invitations to interesting themed tournaments.

I deeply appreciate chess literature.  I love to read all chess books from opening manuals and puzzle books to historical and biographical works and also fiction.
